Chevrolet has launched a new car ‘Chevrolet Sail Sedan. The Sail Sedan is launched specially for Asian Market. The Sail Sedan is available in different colors – Red, Black, White, Light Blue, Grey and Silver. During the launch Chevrolet also announced that the enjoy MPV was in its final stages of testing would be launched within next few months. Chevrolet is claimed that ‘Chevrolet Sail Sedan’ to be the best in term of fuel efficiency. It has two variants – Petrol and Diesel.

The Chevrolet Sail looks awesome whether it is its exterior or interior. The seats have dual tone covering that enhance the sporty look of the car. Five passengers can easily accommodate inside the car including the driver. The company has provided all the active and passive safety features to ensure safe driving that include dual air bag in the front, child safety locks, retractable steering column and child seat system antilock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution and steel frame surrounds the fuel tanks. The interior of the Chevrolet Sail adorned with a twin cockpit design, wonderful looking central control panel that comes loaded with CD/MP3 player and a radio.
To achieve higher mileage figure, the Chevrolet Sail is developed with a light weight construction material along with a compact engine. The 1.2 Liter Smartech petrol version provides an average of 18.2kmpl while its diesel counterpart has an average mileage of 22.3kmpl. The company has designed the body of the car with light weight to increase the mileage.
The Chevrolet is loaded with 1.2 liter smartech and 1.3 liter smartech engines, the mills produce a top power of 84bph at the rate of 6000 rpm and 77bph at the rate of 400 rpm respectively. The engines are claimed to be as class leader in term of fuel efficiency. The Chevrolet Sail is expected to be launched in India with front disc with antilock brakes coupled with electronic brake force distribution for secure driving. The Chevrolet is fitted with front dual airbags for the safety of front passengers that activate automatically in case of front collision. Seatbelts for all the seat rows are provided that assist in securing the passengers. The car comes loaded with standard A/C.
The compact Sedan from the American automaker is being offered with a three year warranty on the car and five year warranty on the engine and transmission.
